IPEN has partnered with 9 national permaculture associations (members of the European Permaculture Network) to submit an EU funding application for a 2 year project to pilot and develop a Regenerative Leadership Programme to train and support the leaders and pioneers in European permaculture organisations, teaching and demonstration projects.
The project plans to produce Good Practice Guides on:
- permaculture education systems;
- organisational development;
- demonstration centre projects;
- using digital tools and systems, for effective collaborative working.
These will draw on the experience of the partners, and be designed to be as useful as possible for anyone who wants to learn from and apply the lessons learnt to implement good practice in these areas. It is planned that all the key outputs of the project will be available from a project website, and that the Regenerative Leadership training an online blended learning package by the end of the project in 2021.
IPEN believes that this approach could be used or adapted in other areas of the world, where neighbouring countries want to collaborate to support and develop their permaculture leaders and pioneers.
News on this project will follow in June or July 2019 …
