PIRN (Permaculture International Research Network)

PIRN has been established to further knowledge and understanding of permaculture in all its aspects, through researchers and practitioners working closely together to learn from each other. PIRN aims to facilitate this by:

PIRN was launched at the International Permaculture Conference in London, September 2015.

PIRN has produced a number of Research Briefings and has active working groups, for example on Food Forests and Forest Gardens, and Permaculture and Climate Change which led to the 52 Climate Actions project.
