IPEN is keen to undertake and be involved in research that helps the global permaculture community to understand how it can be more effective in spreading and deepening the benefits and positive impacts of permaculture education.

In 2017-18 IPEN undertook and published a first global survey of permaculture teachers to establish needs, gaps and priorities, across different languages and cultures – you can download and read a summary of the valuable results below:
