Permaculture and development

This forum has been created to share resources, ideas, connections and so on relating to the application of permaculture within the development movement, including to address humanitarian, disaster relief and refugee situations. IPEN has a small Permaculture & Development Group, is supporting the development and delivery of 'Permaculture for Development Workers' courses, has published case studies on relevant themes (supported by the Lush Spring Prize) and is engaging with the Re.Alliance network which is also actively engaged with these issues. The focus is of course on bottom-up approaches, and a shift away from traditional models of development. Please share useful resources, connections and thoughts on this approach to permaculture and development in this forum.
